Places

Ephesians 2:6
And have raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

It has been said that in this world there is a place for everyone. That in this world your gifts will make a place or make room for you. If this is true, why is it that so many people in this world feel out of place? Why do so many people struggle with who they are and where do they belong. The answer is that so many people are out side of Jesus Christ!
In this world much time and effort is spent just fighting for a safe place to live. We struggle to obtain the necessary things of life. Then we add more stress to our life by trying to obtain and maintain the unnecessary things thinking obtaining these things will bring us peace. We don't see that the time spent seeking these things is lost time. Even if we obtain the stuff, we loose time the most valuable asset we possess.
Even the physical place we call home is vulnerable to so many things that we have no power to  control. Something happens and our relationships, health and finances are beyond help. We feel lost and out of place. The key here is we feel out of place. Loss is a feeling we get when we loose something or someone important in our life. Many times this makes us feel out of place.
Loss is a given in this physical world. The filling of loss is real. It has a real negative impact that can be devastating. A sense of no hope can be very real especially when you feel there is nothing that can help or change the situation. You feel really low. What can be done to bring change?
Only movement in the Spirit can bring true change in the natural. Movement in the Spirit is not based on how we feel. It is based in the truth of God. Movement in the Spirit will always change your present position even when you feel like nothing has happened. Why? Because when we move in the Holy Spirit, we are moving in Christ Jesus.
Moving in Christ Jesus means we have been raised up even if we don't yet feel the change in position. The word says that God has raised us up to a new place. We have not raised ourselves to this place. The world has not raised us up, only God. The word says that we have been made to sit in this new place. This means we are not standing in pride and arrogance. Neither are we laying low in guilt and shame. We have been made to sit in a certain place.
This signifies a place of assigned seating for rest. This is a place were pride, arrogance, guilt, shame, hurt and pain can not exist. When we move in Christ Jesus we move in the heavenly places. When we move in Christ we have access to more than one place! We have access to heavenly places that operate on levels far above this world! We have access to levels and dimensions we could never reach outside Christ.
We never feel out of place in Christ because there are no empty places in him! No matter where you find yourself in Christ is where you are supposed to be. You can not be pushed or pulled from your assigned place in Christ Jesus. So child of God walk out the purpose God has for you in this world. But know with full assurance your true place is in Christ Jesus now and forever. Keep moving forward in Christ Jesus. Keep looking up and you will never be out of place. Amen and Amen!
