This Is The Day!





 Colossians 1:16-17
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.



     Welcome readers of this blog. Ready or not here He comes! Today is the day that God has chosen for you to get to know him as father and king. It is time to draw near to him that made you for love sake. Most people want a God who can meet their needs whenever they call on him. They don't want a God to love. They definitely don't want a God who's purpose is to set laws and standards to govern their lives. 
      I believe great things are going to happen this day because we choose to put Him, his Kingdom and his Righteousness first in our lives. I say this because I believe transformation of the heart and soul takes place when we truly seek God for no other reason but to know him as father and king.When we seek him with our whole heart and soul we become more like him in ways we don't even fully understand. 
      Our sin nature wants to put God in a place that would best serve our selfish nature. There are times when we only called on him to meet a need or in times of faking religion. The rest of the time we do whatever we feel is right to us no matter what was said in his word.
      For us today is a new day because he is looking for those that can return love and not just take for themselves. He is looking for those that are ready to carry his love as the way of life. He also wants to remind this generation that his name is I AM. He is the self existent one. He has no beginning or end. For he has said that I AM is my name forever. Yes our father's name is I AM forever.  This name is his reminder to all generations including ours.
       The word  Am means  EXIST! I AM means I EXIST! He wants every generation to know He exists! He wants us to know and live like he is the great I AM. He is the past. He is the now and present. He is the future.  This is how He wants us to get to know him. No matter what, He Is Still God!  Every thing we know and don't know was made by HIM FOR HIM. This also includes you and me! It is because of I AM that we exist. He made us!
      This means he has a purpose in his mind for us. We don't get to choose purpose. It is assigned by God.  We don't get to change it to fit what we want or how we choose to live. Remember life out side of him is not true life. Why? Because it is in him that we live, move, and have our being or purpose. How is the creation going to tell the creator his purpose for the creation? The bible says that He is before all things. It also says by HIM all things consist. 
     The word consist simply means held together. Therefore what these words are simply saying is that BY HIM ALL THINGS ARE HELD TOGETHER! WITH OUT HIM ALL THINGS FALL APART! This is why he wants all of you. The things we choose to keep away form him are the very things that will fall apart. So children of God let us let him keep everything  together by keeping HIM at the center of everything. Let him take his place in the center of our life. Look, listen and learn from the great I Am and don't you try to define him. Just draw close to HIM like never before. Let Him tell you who He is. Allow the Holy Spirit to teach you who God is. By the grace of the Father, the grace of the Son, and the grace of the Holy Spirit, the great I AM will reveal himself to you.  
     Today and in the days to come look at God.  He has created this day for you so you can  get to know him better. Why? Because we take time to get to know the ones we love! So embrace Him today and expect him tomorrow.  For he is the Kingdom, Power, and the Glory. Today is your day. Stay close to HIM. Amen! Let it be so.
