Ear To Hear ( Pt. 4 ) The Son of God
Revelation 2:18
And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who has his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet like fine brass.
Today we continue with our mini series on an Ear to Hear. This is blog number five of the eight blog series. I pray that so far you have been blessed. Again the goal is to make us aware of the voices of Christ that comes to bring transformation to our lives. We want to make it clear that how you receive the voice of Jesus Christ in your ear will determine your progression in him and in the kingdom of God. Therefore he adjusts the sound of his voice to represent who we need the most at the time of our interaction with him. For example if you receive his voice as savior, then the sound of his voice will save you from your sins. Yes the sound of his voice is the same sound of I AM that spoke to Moses in the book of Exodus. Whatever you need, I AM is that and more. The key is whatever you need. Christ is not a genie to grant your every wish. He gives you what you need to fulfill God given destiny.
For the church of Thyatira in the book of Revelation chapter two Jesus set his voice to reintroduce himself to them as the Son of God. Why? Because they knew and needed the voice of the Son of God. Why? Because Thyatira was a city who's main source of business was the dying of cloth. They would take something of one color and cover it with another color. But underneath it was still the same. Jesus had to remind them that he is the Son of God and that he could never be covered up. He is the one with the fire in his eyes. He is the one with shining feet of brass that can't be moved. He needed them to know that his fiery eyes could see their works. He could see their charity and service. He could see their faith and patience. He could even see the progression of their works.
But Jesus could also see the tactics of the devil at work. The devil was trying to seduce the servants of Christ at Thyatira. Like a garment that was one color, but dyed to look another color, yet underneath still the same, the devil was using a dyed voice to teach God's people to sin. He was using the voice of a self proclaimed prophetess to get into the unguarded ears of some of God's people. Like the voice of the serpent in the garden of Eden, this women Jezebel mixed the truth of God with lies and fed it to the servants of Christ. Because of her seductive voice and their relationship with her, they allowed her to teach and commit fornication in the church. Because some received her voice, it was allowed for her to teach them to eat things sacrificed to idols. What God has called truth is truth. What God has called sin is sin. This women was teaching that it was alright to have a life based in some truth and in some sin. It was alright to have a mixture.
The Son of God's voice needed to be heard by the church of Thyatira to put an end to this seductive mixture being served by the devil's women Jezebel. Only the Son of God's voice can show the true colors of God's word. Only he can separate and make clear what the devil has tried to mix up and confuse in the church. See, Jezebel was a part of the church at one time. She believed in Jesus. We know this because Jesus gave her a chance to repent and she would not. Therefore he pronounced judgement on Jezebel and them that listened to her. Christ did this so that all his churches, then and now, would know that he is the one that search the reins and hearts of all. He needed them to know that he is the one who rewards everyone according to their works. This also includes satan. Christ will punish satan for his devilish works. Yes even satan must yield to the voice of I AM.
For us, we must know what the word of God says. We must also be lead by the Holy Spirit of God. Why? Because it is only by the Holy Spirit and the true word of God that we learn of Christ. It is in Christ that we live, move and have our being.We must fix our ears on his word alone. We learn the doctrine of the gospel of Jesus Christ to learn the depths of Christ. The doctrine of Jesus Christ is not the doctrine of satan. They take you in totally different directions. The gospel of Jesus Christ leads us to his voice alone. Why? Because only the voice of Jesus Christ the Son of God carries the truth. The voice of satan carries lies because he is the father of the lie. If we receive the voice of the Son of God, than we receive true life and cancel the lies of death. This is the only true reality. If we are not living in the true reality of Jesus Christ than we are not living, we are just existing in a lie.
So children of God fix your ears to hear the Son of God. Know that his eyes see our works. Know that he knows our heart. He knows if we preach and teach his gospel because of the love we have for him in our heart. For we must know and believe that another gospel is not of Christ. He will hold us accountable for any deliberate wrong teaching or misleading of his people. But we must know only his voice if we are going to hold fast until he comes. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says today!
O Son of God, let our ears hear your voice and your voice alone. Help us by your Spirit to monitor our lives and not receive any other gospel than the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let there be no mixture in us or in any place of worship that confesses your name. Thank you Lord and let it be so!

Light will always pierce the darkness. The truth in the Son of God's voice will always pierce the lies of the devil. Light and darkness can't mix. You can't serve two masters. Let your hears hear no mixture. No mixture!
