Beyond Jordan

John 3:26
And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

The Jordan river has always been a special place for God's people. Many great events has happened at this place. But the most important aspect about the Jordan is that it is a symbol of a place where supernatural transition takes place. It is a crossing point from the natural into supernatural movement with God. This is the place where parts of the flesh dies and parts of the Spirit advances.
The Jordan is the symbolic place in the Spirit where one gives it all to God. You decide your life is not yours anymore. You declare that you belong to Christ. To him and him alone you worship. You do not trust flesh anymore. Christ is your God and your actions line up with his will. Transformation of your soul is going beyond just a confession and has entered into actual lifestyle changes that match the ways of God.
The word beyond means happening or continuing after a specific time or event. It can also signify the unknown after death. Jordan simply means descending down. Before the children of Israel could enter into the promise land they first had to cross the place of descending down. God had them in the desert forty years just to get them to a place where flesh was dead enough to cross the Jordan into their destiny. The same is true for us as well. When we first come to Christ he meets us where we are in a place outside his kingdom. He then by the power of the Holy Spirit takes us through a process of removing the world system from our soul.
The Holy Spirit teaches us the ways of Christ. We go through a process designed by God specific to each person who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord. This process takes us all at one point in time to our own personal Jordan. A place where we must choose to decrease or descend down in order for God to increase in our lives. It is at the Jordan where your heart wants more of God. It is like a line has been drawn in the sand and more of Christ is on the other side of the line. Once you cross over you are never going back to the way things were before you crossed over. The old ways are to you dead. You have crossed the Jordan into divine destiny and there is no turning back because the truth of who you are in Christ is moving you forward beyond Jordan. How do you know when you have come to your Jordan?
Your soul will call on the name of Jesus. Your eyes will focus on Him. You will feel the Holy Spirit draw calling you to a deeper place in Him. The boarders of your faith will no longer hold you back because you will choose to remove them. Your faith will be taking you into unknown places. Most of all your revelation of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit will become clearer.
You may feel that you are at the weakest place in your life. It may come after a significant moment in your life. The what's next question can lead you to your next beyond Jordan experience. It is at that low place where you are most open to hear God. The place of descending must come in order for kingdom advancement to take place.
Know that you who are reading this today that your advancement in the kingdom of God is here or near. So children of the most high don't be afraid of the Jordan. Draw that line in the sand and let your flesh die to the ways of this world. Let us all just keep moving in the ways of Jesus Christ. Be sure to cross your Jordan at the appointed time into your divine destiny.  I will see you on the other side beyond the Jordan in Jesus name.

Draw that line in the sand and keep moving toward Jesus. Cross your Jordan and don't look back.
