Hot Spots

 Genesis 28:12
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.


     A hot spot in the spiritual sense is a place of focused Spirit activity. There are two types of spirit activity, good and evil. There has been to much in time passed spoken about the evil.Today let us look at only the good! The bible says that God is good and that God is a Holy Spirit. When God opens a hot spot it is good, holy and full of Spirit activity designed to progress his plans and purposes in the earth. A hot spot is usually a person or a place that God has chosen as a focal point. After connecting heaven and earth through the hot spot everything in both heaven and earth changes!
     There are many examples of hot spots in the bible. The one thing that they all have in common is that the presence of God was in that place. Did not matter if it was a spiritual place or a natural place, when the presence of God was there the place changed. God could and can effect any place on earth and in heaven.
     Often the hot spot was an actual person the Spirit of the Lord was upon or in. In cases like this every place the person was became a hot spot. Jesus is the best example of this super Spirit activity. Every place he went he caused heavy supernatural activity to begin in the spirit and the natural. He even caused those around him to become Spirit active as well. He would send his disciples out to do some of the same things they saw him do. So not only was he a hot spot, but to some extent his disciples became hot spots as well.
     How is a hot spot activated? As for a place, anywhere God is acknowledged becomes a hot spot. As for a person, they only become a hot spot as they yield to the will of God. After they accept Jesus as Lord a connection to heaven is now restored. Then if they open their heart to God  he will fill them with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit then begins to teach us how to flow in the Spirit. The Spirit of God trains us how to be hot spots in the kingdom of God. 
     The purpose of this blog is to help move us closer to God. We do this by asking, seeking and knocking. If you want to get closer study these scriptures, make notes, and share what you find with us. You may very well be the next hot spot God chooses to open! It is just a matter of time!!! Holy Spirit activity in a focused place or person is a hot spot. A willing spirit and a open heart to the will of God will cause Spirit movement. Intense Spirit movement will become a hot spot.
