SAFE PLACE
Psalm 25:4-5
Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou are the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
The bible says that in the beginning, the Holy Spirit of God moved on a void earth. This earth was in a state of being non valid and a totally empty dark place. It could not help itself. Without help it was going to remain that way forever! It was only after Holy Spirit movement, that Light entered into the earth and earth began to be transformed into a place where God life could be created, maintained and progressed. The Light of God began the formation of the safe place for God and man to walk together. The plan of God has always been to interact with man on a personal level.
The same is true for us today. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit desires to connect to all that want to be connected to them. They want to show us their ways on a personal level. When God shows you something it activates the Father, Son and Holy Spirit connections in you that came to life after you came into the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. All who have been truly born again have to confess that at the moment of conversion something changed! You now could see things in the spirit and in the natural that you could never see before. Why? It is because your spiritual eyes have been opened and God has begun to show you his ways by his Spirit.
When God created us, he designed us to move safely in his ways. By design our natural movement in the earth was to be like him. Anytime we move outside of God's ways, it is not safe for us, and it is unnatural for us, based on our original design. The natural desire for a parent is to show their child how to do things. The natural desire for the child is to want to do it all by themselves.
Parent and child must learn to trust one another in order for things to be done the right way to obtain the best results. The parents must show the children how to do things the right way in order for them to be successful. The children must receive what the parents teach them. The parent and child both need to feel safe in the environment were learning is being done in order for true trust to develop between them. When we put our trust in God, he begins to show us his eternal ways. He shows us his eternal methods, style and manner of living life.
Once he shows us a thing, then he begins to teach us how to operate in that thing. The word teach means to show or explain to someone how to do something. God has given us only one safe way to enter into his salvation and that is through his son Jesus Christ. Through Christ, God opens the door to the way and path he has chosen for each of us to progress in him. God has many ways as well as paths. When God shows us his way, he activates things on our path to show and explain to us how to operate in that way.
We are all different. We all learn in different ways. We should never think that God is going to teach us all the same way. He will teach us the same thing, but he will use many different methods to do so. Never think we all are on the same path. The path you are on has been specifically designed by God. It has been designed for you and God to walk together safely forever for the purpose of true divine interaction.
When God shows us a truth, he then puts us on a individual path to teach us that truth. A path is a designed way or track laid down for the purpose of walking. As we walk the path God has laid down for us, we learn the truth. It is the power of the truth that keeps us on the path. You and I are children of God. We both are different. We are both on different paths to learn the same God given truth. We are all shown the same God truth, but God will choose how we learn it!
God wants to lead us in his truth. The bible says that Jesus is the only way to The Father. Jesus said that He is the Truth, The Way, and The Life. This means that Jesus, by way of the Holy Spirit, is the one who can cause us to come to the Father. He leads us by truth to the Father who gives us the same life that is in Christ Jesus.
The word lead means to cause a person to go with one by holding them by the hand while moving forward. Jesus takes the hand of anyone that wants to go with him and leads them forward, never backward, into the Truth that is God. He leads you into ever lasting God Life. God Life is a safe, progressive, process that causes you to want to learn, and then ask the question what's next?
The Truth, the Way and the Life are all contained in God's salvation you receive when you connect to God through his Son Jesus Christ. The bible says that once you are connected to God, your salvation must be worked out. You must learn to operate in the things that God given salvation has made available to you. The salvation of God contains everything that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have given to us to lead an eternal Spirit filled life with God. We can walk in the Spirit because God will teach us how when we allow him to lead and guide us in his way.
God is the safe place that has everything we need to prosper forever. The way of God is based in HIS SALVATION that he gives to us. To work out our own salvation means to allow the Holy Spirit to be our personal trainer who will train us in the personal individual plan that God's salvation has purposed for our individual life. As salvation is worked out in an individual, that person begins to grow in the Spirit according to the plan of God, and begins to connect with others who are growing in like manner in the kingdom of God.
Like any type of training program, it is important to follow the program given by the personal trainer in order to progress to the different levels that the program offers. The personal trainer will always choose a safe place to teach and train in order to get the best results for the one going through the program. Every thing that a person goes through while walking in the earth are not just random things that happen. The Holy Spirit makes use of good and bad things to teach us how to walk in the spirit for the purpose of getting to know God in a greater way.
To be in Christ Jesus means you have chosen his safe place to connect to God and use the salvation that he gave Jesus to give to us. Before Jesus returned to heaven, he made it clear that the safe place of the Holy Spirit would be with us forever and teach and train us in the salvation of God.
If you are a son or daughter of the most high God today, then you are in Christ and the Holy Spirit is your personal trainer. He has you on a forever program in a safe place to walk with the living God. The safe place is not the earth of the world that surrounds you, but it is the God earth that God has put in the center inside you. This is your training ground where his salvation is proven and worked out or progressed.
The question you may ask is how do I know God's salvation is truly working in my life? The answer is God's salvation contains more than we could possibly list! After all, his salvation is eternal. But for example sake, here are eight signs that God's word gives us that salvation is active in your life:
1. Psalm 132:16 I will clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
2. Psalm 74:12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of earth.
3. Psalm 69:29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation O God set me on high.
4. Psalm 68:19-20 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. He that is our God is the God of salvation and unto God the Lord belong the issues of death.
5. Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of my salvation: and uphold me with thy free spirit.
6. Psalm 35:3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me; say unto my soul I am thy salvation.
7. Psalm 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou are the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
8. Psalm 3:8 Salvation belongs unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
Salvation is active in you when you understand that it is not something you put on, but it is something God puts on you. You don't earn it, it is given.
Salvation is active in you when you understand God has always been King over you regardless how you felt about it. It is HIM who is causing salvation to work in the middle of you.
Salvation is active in you when you understand that without God your natural state is poor and sorrowful. It is HIS salvation that sets you on high.
Salvation is active in you when you understand that Jesus is the God of our salvation. By him come all our daily benefits. God and God alone control the issues of life and death.
Salvation is active in you when you are able to tap into the internal joy that God has given you by his free Spirit that cancels out the effects of the world.
Salvation is active in you when you trust God to protect your mind, will and emotions from the ones who have been sent by the enemy to persecute you because of who you are in Christ.
Salvation is active in you when you ask God in a truthful progressive way to lead you and teach you in HIS truth. Then be patient when HE does so.
Salvation is active in you when you believe salvation belongs to the Lord. All the what's, when's, why's, how's and where's belong to and are determined by HIM.
These are just eight signs that the safe place of God's salvation is working in you to progress the God life that you have received. There is so much more that comes with the salvation of God, that it will take eternity to even come close to the fullness of it all!
So, with all the unrest going on in the world today, let us find our joy and our peace in the salvation that God has given us through Jesus Christ. Let our focus be on what God is showing us today as we walk the path he has designed for us to work out the salvation he has given knowing he is the safe place. Let us all give him praise today as we walk with him! Just trust and believe God.
Apostle Henry
In the salvation of God, given to us through Jesus Christ, is everything we need to walk in that safe place. This is where we learn and progress in the ways of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Thank God for the safe place.
