Weapons
ISAIAH 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn.
A weapon is a thing designed or used for inflicting bodily harm or physical damage.The purpose of a weapon is to protect for the good or to kill and destroy for the evil. All weapons must be formed or crafted. They all must have a place of origin. Their are all kinds of weapons that have been formed against man since our fall in the garden of Eden. I have come to the conclusion that the most powerful of these weapons are weapons formed in the spirit and unleashed through the power of the tongue.
A spiritual weapon is so powerful because it is designed to work from inside the soul before working it's way out into the natural body and surrounding area. To put it simply, spiritual weapons affect the soul, the body and any area near the body. Once the mind, will and emotions have been influenced by a spiritual weapon, the natural body will also be affected by that spiritual weapon.
The spiritual weapons designed by God for our good have a positive effect on our soul and our natural body. The enemy has taken the idea of the spiritual weapon and turned it against all human beings in an attempt to activate the sin in them to kill, steal and destroy themselves through the power of their own tongue. Our uncontrolled tongue placed in the right environment can be a weapon of mass destruction responsible for helping to destroy many lives. At the same time a God controlled tongue in the right place can be a weapon of mass construction to help build lives in the Kingdom of God.
Isaiah uses the example of a black smith pouring molten metal into a mold to form or shape a weapon. God said he created the smith. Therefore God knows every weapon that the smith is able to create with the resources at his disposal. God created the devil so God knows every weapon the enemy is able to form in a person's soul. Like a black smiths forge, the mind can be filled with spiritual materials that can be shaped into good or bad weapons. Pure Spirit filled materials from God will fill the mind with thoughts that will from weapons so powerful that lives will be totally transformed for the good. Impure spiritual materials can fill the mind with thoughts that can form weapons that will destroy you from the inside out.
No matter what type of spiritual weapon formed, it will most likely be delivered into the natural atmosphere by the tongue. The bible says that death and life are in the power of the tongue. This tells me that the tongue is a delivery system that can deliver life or death. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth or tongue shall speak. Whatever fills your heart will be turned into weapons in your mind that will be released through your tongue! The key then to abundant life is to release life from our tongue and not death.
Jesus Christ is the life. The Spiritual weapons he formed in his mind defeated the devil once and for all. The weapons of Christ formed in the forge of our mind can be used to resist the enemy right now today. The mind of Christ will ensure that the spiritual weapons have been created pure for the purposes of God.
These weapons are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds both in the spirit and the natural. God's weapons take the shape of fruit produced by the Holy Spirit of God. For example, where the fruit of love is, the devil responses with a weapon of hate.When hate is formed against us it can't prosper because the power of the love of God overcomes the power of hate. Every weapon the devil forms is in response to a fruit of the Spirit that is active to transform someones life.
With no fruit of the Spirit to protect the soul from evil weapons the soul is open to attack from the inside and the outside. Like children, we will pick up the evil weapons and hurt ourselves and others. The devil leaves them laying around in all kinds of media and all kinds of people. Some weapons are hidden and some are out in the open for all to see.
We need the mind of Christ to cancel these weapons formed against us. We need the mind of Christ to help us uncover the hidden weapons and avoid the ones that attract us. We need the mind of Christ to keep us focused on the ways of the Kingdom of God rather than just accepting the ways of this world that are of the devil. We need the mind of Christ to purge the delivery system of our tongue with the fire of God so that it will speak life and not death. We need to guard our heart and mind with the mind of Christ so we don't allow evil weapons to be forged in our own mind.
So children of God allow the same mind that is in Christ Jesus to be our mind. With it we to can allow the Holy Spirit to form spiritual weapons in our soul to resist every spiritual weapon of our enemy satan. We can do nothing to resist the enemy when we live a life outside Christ. So let's keep Jesus Christ as our standard example on how to use and disarm spiritual weapons. So stay in Christ and uses your weapons well. See you in the mist of the battle! May the love of Christ keep you my brothers and sisters. Keep moving forward in Jesus name! Amen!

Let the fire of God form Spiritual weapons in our soul to destroy every spiritual and natural weapon of our enemy satan. Nothing can defeat the mind of Christ! Let that same mind be in us.
