The Way,The Truth And The Life

Image
Matthew 16:15-16 He said unto them, But whom say you that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.      Simon Peter was one of the disciples of Jesus Christ. But before he became a disciple of Jesus he was many things. He was a businessman. He was a faithful husband. He was a brother. He was a son. He was a friend. He was very busy, but his life did not have any meaning. All he had was an existence. All of his responsibilities did not fill the empty place inside his heart. He believed in God, but knew there was more to God. What was missing inside Peter was the Way, the Truth and the Life.       When Peter first saw Jesus he knew something about this man was different. We all who have come to Jesus have a similar story. We were busy involved in an existence we thought was life. We all had something missing inside our hearts. But when we really saw Jesus for the first time we knew he was different and he was different in a good way. W

Times of Transition

Matthew 11:2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?      The basic meaning of the word transition is a change or passing from one to another. The one key factor in every transition is time. There is a set time for every transition to take place. God is the master of the time of transition. John was called by God to preach to the nation of Israel. His message was clear and simple. His voice cried out Repent You: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. The message was for everyone with ears to hear.       His message carried the wave of transition from th

The Father's Life

1John 1:2 For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.      The life of our Father who is in heaven has always existed. He has no beginning and he has no end. This means our heavenly Father's nature is of an eternal nature. This means if you are a child of God you have access to his eternal nature. Why? Because children carry the traits of the parents naturally. Therefore the life that is the Father should begin to manifest in your every day life because you are his child. His characteristics and behavior should be a normal part of your every day life. Your life should be a living witness of his eternal life manifesting in you.       The word manifest means to be clear or obvious to the eye or mind. We know that the way to the Father is through his son Jesus Christ. When we accept the Son we accept the Father and become one with them. There is a transformation of l
