The Two Orders of God
Hebrews 8:1-2 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched and not man. The order of Melchizedek and the order of Levi are both priestly orders established by God to fulfill his plans and purposes in heaven and in the earth. The purpose of today's blog is to outline some of the different aspects of the two orders. Why is this important? This is important because as children of the most high God, we belong to one and only one of these priestly orders. An order is a type of priesthood. The major difference between these two types of priesthood is that one is heavenly and the other is a pattern given from heaven to be made and used by man on earth.
