Matthew 17:5 While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear you him.      This is the second time in the gospel accounts that a voice from heaven validated Jesus as the beloved Son of God. The bible says that in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.  God himself used his voice to established Jesus as his beloved Son. God also established that he was well pleased with his Son.       On the mount of transfiguration Jesus had Peter, James and John as his witnesses of what happened that day. For them, even above all what they saw, the most important thing that happened was what they heard. It is a movie about a man who relives the same day over and over again with the same results each day. No matter how hard he tries, the day ends up the same! He has no forward progress. He ends up right were he started. Have you ever felt that way? I know I have! I believe most of us, if we are honest, have found ourselves in this position at some point in our lives.
