1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. The focus of our blog today deals with the subject of seed. Their are very many different kinds of seed in the earth today. The purpose of a seed is to reproduce whatever produced the seed. For example apple seeds come from the fruit of the apple tree. This means under the right conditions the seed from the fruit of the apple tree will one day become another apple tree like the one the original fruit came from. If the first tree had red apples, then the tree that came from the original tree will also produce red apples. They both will share some if not all of the same characteristics that identify it as a red apple tree. The bible calls this method of reproduction seed after it's own kind, where the seed to produce another of the same kind is found in itself. God created man with the same principle in mind.
